Kitten Veterinary Services
A Happy & Heathy Kitten Starts With Early Veterinary Care
Welcoming a new kitten into your home is an exciting time! Your adorable new family member is bound to bring a smile to everyone's face.
As these adorable bundles of joy begin their journey into the world, providing them with proper veterinary care becomes crucial for ensuring their growth, development, and overall happiness.
Regular veterinary care includes regular check-ups, vaccinations, and parasite prevention. Remember, investing in their medical care now will help set your new family member up for a lifetime of good health.
Your Kitten's First Appointment
We recommend that kittens attend their first veterinary appointment around eight weeks of age.
Examination & Diagnostics
They will receive a complete physical examination to assess their overall health, look for signs of congenital issues, and check for internal and external parasites.
Your kitten will also have a blood test done to check for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.
Parasite Prevention & Vaccinations
Deworming medications and the first round of kitten vaccinations will also be provided.
Follow-Up Appointments
Approximately three to four veterinary appointments will be required for kittens between the ages of six and 16 weeks. These visits allow your veterinarian to monitor your kitten's health and administer vaccines on a recommended schedule.
