Your Kitten's First Appointment

We recommend that kittens attend their first veterinary appointment around eight weeks of age.

Examination & Diagnostics

They will receive a complete physical examination to assess their overall health, look for signs of congenital issues, and check for internal and external parasites.

Your kitten will also have a blood test done to check for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus.

Parasite Prevention & Vaccinations

Deworming medications and the first round of kitten vaccinations will also be provided.

Follow-Up Appointments

Approximately three to four veterinary appointments will be required for kittens between the ages of six and 16 weeks. These visits allow your veterinarian to monitor your kitten's health and administer vaccines on a recommended schedule.

Your Guide to Raising a Healthy & Happy Cat

Caring for your new kitten is a big responsibility. To help you navigate their critical first year of life, our team will provide you with guidance, support, and helpful information each step of the way, including:
